My First Rock Band 1978

This was my first band! I got my first bass (an Aspen Jazz Bass copy) from Gordon Miller Music for Christmas, 1977. After 6 months or so of practicing, my sister Ava and brother Jim let me play in their band.

I'm happy that any tapes of us are left at all, but as you might expect, the quality is marginal. I hope to add more songs to this table as I find them.

Love Alive LoveAlive.mp3 (4MB) LoveAlive.rm (1MB) Ava has always been a fan of the band Heart, and there were a number of Heart songs in our list.
Original Original.mp3 (2MB) Original.rm (511KB) I'm not sure if we ever had a title for this one. Apparently recorded at a party, at the start of the song you can hear Jim say to the audience, "You all must be drunk!"

Here was the lineup:
Timmy Alamo - Drums
Mike Lascuola - Bass
Ava Lascuola - Vocals, lead guitar
Jim Lascuola - Vocals, slide guitar, electric guitar, harmonica
