Pulp Culture got its name from the Thomas Dolby song from "Aliens Ate My Buick." We tried to perform a good mix of Album-Oriented Rock and some more modern material like Green Day and Stone Temple Pilots.

We succeeded for a time, but the rut of playing the same few clubs in Colorado Springs got the best of us. We played our last gigs the New Year's weekend, 1997. Our guest vocalist for the 1st of the 3 nights was Tron Simpson (for more info, see Tron).
