This is the car that started my "Old Car" kick. We got it for only $550 in September of '97. It has required more work than the other cars, however. First, a quick $500 to get the brakes street-safe, then tires, and last, the 18-month engine re-build. One cylinder had no compression, so T's Auto in Colorado Springs did the pistons, bearings, cam, oil pump, lifers, gaskets, exhaust, carburetor, etc. The work includes an engine compartment re-paint, so it should be a fairly good utility driver. I hope to have some detailed pictures here soon.
